Musicians or Composers

The rent-free residence on the ground floor of "Kongegaarden" is 54 m2 .

The concert room on the first floor is available as studio and includes a Steinway & Sons piano, model C-227 from 1964, renovated in 1996. Washing machine and tumble dryer are provided. Unlimited wireless broadband internet is available throughout the building against payment of DKK 100- per month.

The apartment is primarily meant for recognized musicians and composers. Full-time students at a recognized academy of music or an equivalent institution are also invited.

A stay at the rent-free residence of "Kongegaarden" may normally not exceed 12 months.

The application must be forwarded to the management of "Kongegaarden", Algade 25, 4220 Korsør, Denmark. Information about age, qualifications, purpose of the stay and requested duration of stay must be provided.

Applications are welcome at any time. Successful applicants must pay a deposit of DKK 3.000- to cover possible damage during the stay as well as DKK 800- per month to cover expenses such as electricity, water and heating.
